I think it's because the thousand-separator in Swedish is a space and not a comma. So it shows up as an invalid symbol?

Please provide more information, with only these facts it's impossible to solve the problem!

Is you or your friend behind a firewall? Did you port forward properly?
-
Either use MCEdit or the bukkit plugin Essentials and the command /setspawn

I'm having trouble getting Tekkit.jar on the server, it exceeds the single file limit for uploading
Is that a limitation from the hosting provider? You could zip it into multiple files and then unzip it on the server!

i was looking more for the rain tanks, biothings and the electric engines, the engines were cheap, decent and useful... never ran too hot or stoo cold... didnt require coal or fuel and water etc.and i thought the farms woulda looked cool here and there, great for making villages and things but i suppose im not missing that many things then!
What you need is an Energy Link. Works just like an Electrical Engine!

If you have SSH and FTP access all you really need to do is to upload the server files with ftp (or ssh). Then ssh into the the server and run the launch file!

To actually answer the question:
The simple solution is to just run it from the Terminal, you simply navigate into the folder and run the launch.sh file with the sh-command like so:
sh launch.sh

Title: G-key toggles twice or thrice in multiplayer (EE)
Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4
OS: Mac OS X 10.7.4
Java Version: 1.7.0_04
Description of Problem:
When you have a tool from Equivalent Exchange in multiplayer and toggle it's mode with G it skips forward 2 or 3 steps instead of just one. This makes it practically unusable.
Tried this in single player and it worked fine!
