  1. sorry guys does any1 know how to port forward on a bthomehub? i have 6sections when i enter my ip, and all the tutorials i have watched seem to have different subsections; i have Home, telephones, Basic config, services troubleshooting, advanced, with more subsections under advanced
  2. I am trying to set up a Tekkit server. In server.properties i have my local ip address, and that is what I enter when joining my server. Anyone connected to my BT Homehub, on the same router as me can join the server. My friends can't even when i give them my public ip address. I'm using the port 25565; whenever I try to use my public ip I have a port bind error. I have a BT Homehub, and I'm not sure how to port forward through Minecraft with it. I don't know if this is the problem, but when I go onto the Homehub menu after entering my ip, which is apparently 192.168.1.254, (but I've also been given information that my ethernet ip is 192.168.1.68, and my wireless 192.168.1.72), I go onto Application Sharing under Advanced, I am confronted with a confusing set of text entry boxes; port range (I've put 25565-25565), Translate to (left blank automatically filled in as 25565-25565), trigger protocol (left blank came up as any) and trigger port (I put 25565).
