    Unfortunately Java 7 is required for my online school's virtual classroom sessions so I can't delete it. Instead I found something that works.     Okay the problem was that it's not playing nice with Java SE 7. I have since unchecked it in Java preferences and am now running Java 6.

    Launcher Version: 1.0.1.3 Operating System: Mac OSX Lion 10.7.4 Java Version: 1.7.0_04 (I think it's version 7) Antivirus Program: Sophos Description of Problem: Okay so I open up the technic launcher, enter in my username and password and press login. It had to update, so I agreed. After it updated it showed me a white screen for like 1 second and then it closed. It was working fine before the update. So I deleted the launcher and redownloaded it, assuming that it was a problem with my launcher. The new launcher did the same thing. So this time I deleted the .techniclauncher folder in Application Support. Still nothing.     I have Java 7, I just installed it earlier today. I'm still getting errors saying that the zip files in the mods folder contain no mods.

    I'm using a MacBook Pro and I wanted to start a Tekkit server for myself and a few friends. I downloaded the Tekkit Launcher and tried to run a server through that, but I'm obviously missing something because none of the ores were showing up or so it seemed. So I downloaded the Tekkit Server 3.1.1 and it won't work because I'm on a Mac. Also I'm having troubles getting texture packs to work. In the original Minecraft Launcher I have a texture pack, but it won't let me select it. It just kinda temporarily freezes the screen (the mouse still works), whenever I click on it. I have it in a zip folder too. I can't get it to show up in the Tekkit launcher either. Is there something I'm missing?

    I only use a Mac because my school provided it for my graphic arts program. I would've never picked a Mac honestly.

    I'm having trouble placing blocks when I use Tekkit from the Tekkit launcher. Every time I place a block it immediately goes back into my inventory. I don't have this problem when placing blocks in vanilla Minecraft in the original Minecraft launcher so I know it isn't my server. Is there something wrong with my Tekkit launcher?

    1. Do server commands work on Tekkit? I can't seem to use them on my server. 2. Do you have to start a new world to use Tekkit effectively? If so how do you do that? I'm on a Mac. 3. In the items section I know that NEI is on there, but I can't seem to get it to work. Is it just a display or is there something wrong with my Tekkit?
