Terrain is invisible and mobs are white

Press "ESC" (Ingame) Go to "Video settings" and change the view distance, same happened to me. -
Open start menu, type in %appdata%, go to .techniclauncher (if there is folder called "tekkit" then delete it), open "technic-launcher.java" and install tekkit. Hope it helps! :D
