Am I supposed to run the .jar file with Java SE Binary? (java.exe) Just to make sure, I did, Open with>Browse>Program Files>java>jre7>bin>java I tried that, literally nothing happens, the "Checking Launcher Version" thing doesn't even flash.

I just uninstalled AVG. However, I'm still having the same issue.

I've been at it for over 3 hours now. I reinstalled java, tried creating a batch file, added java to my system path variable.. still no luck. Some help would be greatly appreciated.
