tekkit is a mod that doesn't pair well with rp. it is more industry than rp'ing.

just use a plugin from bukkit.org

you are supposed to press M.

1. You have to download the original tp first (your choice of resolution) and then download the patch with the same resolution. 2. Extract both zip files to normal folders. 3. Take the files out of the patch and put them in the original. 4. Place the folder (with both in it) into the tekkit texture packs directory. 5. Profit! hope this helps.

i have one with no limitations. 10 people max. but i'm usually the only one on it. Are you interested?

you just put plugins (from bukkit.org) into the plugins folder in the server directory.

"Tekkit vanilla" is contradictory. do you want a tekkit server (with no limitations) or a vanilla server. BTW: i have a server and that is why i asked.

you dont use the launch.bat file, you use the Tekkit.java file which runs in the background.

what is the ip?

Did you run minecraft or the technic launcher to play? You HAVE to use the technic launcher. Minecraft.exe is COMPLETELY unaffected by the installation.

how big of a server are you looking for? (eg: 50 max)
