i have done everything. deleted folders files anti virus fire walls restart computer and all i get is when i click login "update failed". someone please help me

so i have been having the same problem. I have done everything from re-installing the launcher and minecraft, changing anti virus/firewalls, even deleting my firewalls and anti virus completely. nothing has worked. I just tried going through the launchers properties and its completely untouched by my security. Please if anyone has found a solution let me know
