I tried what thomasfn suggested, and increasing the memory allocated to the launcher to 4 gb instead of 2 increased FPS back to over 60 in that area. Thanks =)

I get something similar, only when I'm in a specific area of my tower though. I have normal buildcraft and redpower2 pipes throughout the place, plus a bunch of IC2 machines. Also downstairs I have a bunch of beer fermenting. There are computers which have startup loops as well, but I have those in other places where the lag doesn't show up at all and I get >100 fps. First time posting for help, so if I forgot something let me know.
