This is assuming you don't live in Australia, the US or the UK as well, as the criminalization of defamation is against Freedom of Expression as outlined in article 19 of the United Declaration of Human Rights. First: This is a Tekkit issue, not a Launcher issue, wrong section. Second: You aren't giving any real info here... "Latest version" of Java doesn't mean much, what's the version number? did you only recently start having this problem? what server are you trying to connect to? What version of Tekkit are you trying to use? Third: I'm pretty sure your problem is answered by this sticky topic from the Tekkit Bug section http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/must-have-forge-build-136-error.16750/

Pretty much my thought as well, keep Tekkit as the more 'simple' pack we all know (IC, EE and BC mainly). And keep Technic as the more 'full' pack that changes content every few versions
