Windows 7 64 bit OS, Intel i7 2.4 GHz processor, 16 GB ram, I have been playing Tekkit single player and multiplayer, I updated to 64 bit Java because I read it might help me with the 'out of memory' error I've been getting, now tekkit won't start at all. I get a brief flash of a cmd window then nothing. Please tell me what else I can tell you to help you help me. Thanks! edit: antivirus: Microsoft Security Essentials

My son set this game up for me on my laptop, but due to a bum leg I am stuck in bed with another laptop. I wanted to play while I am just lying here, so I installed it myself on the bedroom laptop. I would never have got it working if I hadn't found multiple threads to fix multiple issues I was having with the installation. I know you mods get a lot of complaints, I thought you'd like a virtual attaboy :D
