Apologies, but under further investigations this looks like an issue that's not related to Tekkit.

Title: Read timed out, Trouble logging onto server Version: 3.1.2 OS: Windows 7 64-bit Java Version: 1.7.5 Description of Problem: When logging into my server, I can join the game and everything functions normally for a couple of seconds. Then, however, I cannot interact with anything, breaking blocks does not drop anything, I cannot talk, hit mobs, etc. I am then disconnected with a reason "java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out". The issue is that there are several other people who are playing with the same Tekkit version I have (3.1.2), on the same server who do not experience this problem. I tried joining other tekkit servers, and the same thing happens, though the delay before the issues occur can vary. I can create a singleplayer world just fine and everything works there. I reverted the server to vanilla minecraft, and connected with a vanilla client just fine. I tried searching the forums for anyone who has this issue, but I cannot find anything conclusive. It seems that when I try again, I have extra blocks (the ones that appeared not to drop). The blocks I placed for testing have also appeared and my player is located where I disconnected. I'm guessing this means the server is receiving my information fine, but I am not receiving it's information correctly? I have also disabled my firewall and anti-virus, and the problem still continues.
