You guys need to update to the latest java. Check if you're 64-bit, 32-bit or both. To check this: 1. Open start 2. Right click (my)Computer, and then click properties. 3. Find System type, and it should be there. Now find the right type of Java7 on your search engine.

I might just grab a single player world with long grass, and turn it into a multiplayer map. -spaites

There is no long grass what so ever. There are flowers, but NO long grass. I think it may be the world creator thing. -spaites

I have the same problem, when I set up a tekkit server (3.1.1 or 3.1.2) theres no long grass! I think it takes away all the beauty in minecraft. If there is a way to get long grass back, well then, SHARE IT WITH THE WORLD! -spaites
