I found a fix! Go download Java 6, then make a batch file and put this in: mkdir %APPDATA%\.techniclauncher\rtemp "C:\program files\java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xmx1G -jar %APPDATA%\.techniclauncher\technic-launcher.jar If you run that to download all of the mods you want from the Technic launcher, then use the actual launcher to run the games, it works fine

I use Windows 7(64bit), Java 7(64bit) I am having the same problem, this used to happen with me on all of the Technic pack launched mods, but after a few tries I managed to get Tekkit and Hack/Mine working. But now, due to the Tekkit update, it is stuck again. I believe it is worth mentioning the same thing happens when I launch normal Minecraft.
