I have been having some difficulty with my sever's performance lately and have attempted to use LagMeter with no success.
I'm receiving a "LagMeter contained no mods" notification during the server initialization.
From what I've read this mod is "dead simple" so I must be missing something obvious.
I've tried the latest build (for 1.3) as well as the version I should probably be using:
R: LagMeter 1.8 for CB 1.2.5-R1.0Mar 30, 2012

i runned a 5 slot server on 256 mb a wile ago. if you don't go to far away from eachother its playable. but expect the console to be full of " can't keep up "
u serious ? i ton't get over 800 mb with 10 users on..
So we've added two additional people. They're just starting out and haven't built any complex machines, reactors, quarries, etc yet and the server utilization is pretty much the same. Not sure how many more ppl can be added with similar results (i.e. no degradation of performance). So the net-net is that 890mb (a 1GB server) seems to be working pretty well for us so far.

I have a two man server with EE disabled. Each of us is running two quarries w/ about 3 total world anchors in use. The server typically reports 890MB in use. Even w/ no quarries running the server sits at 660ish MB. I do use a bunch of teleport pipes. I'm running a 1GB Rackspace Cloud server so the 890MB peak usage may very well be all that is left after CENTOS is up and running.

I have just two ppl on a server but have about 20 teleport pipes going myself w/o any issue. Visually it sometimes appears that things are flowing incorrectly but they really aren't. Not sure if it can scale as you have more ppl on a server but regardless, haven't witnessed the glitches described above.

This could be a similar issue... Last night I was upgrading my tekkit server and forgot to shut it down. Surprisingly, everything seemed to copy over fine except the_end was locked because it was in use. Similar to you, neither me or the other individual on the server have been there. Odd. I'll have to check the file size but overall the entire tekkit server including world is sitting at just 40MB (maybe I'm just talking world files).

For others who have Java SE 6 running and still encountering this error, check to ensure you have an internet connection. I received the same error when my interwebs were broken.

Thanks for your help. I found them (on a Mac) and used TimeMachine to roll back. Maybe a future version won't overwrite user data.

Torezu, can you elaborate on the line:
"Save your waypoints for that world if you have any you want to keep."I upgraded and noticed my 40+ waypoints are gone. Would very much like to get them back!
