ehh apparantly mirror.technicpack.net is not the new server, because it doesn't exist xD nobody get respond from it and there come tons of threads in here about it and the answer is simple. mirror.technicpack.net DOES NOT WORK, so we have 2 solutions. 1. keep using technicpack.net files. (but you need to delete lastlogin everytime you start it, due to no new exe files) 2. creators of technicpack.net get out with an official repport explaining to people what is happening and go get the mirror working. (when mirror work we can get new exe file with lastlogin fix)

oh no.. i now got the same problem... it creates the technic-launcher.jar.temp and then just stop working. EDIT: but after a lot of trying it started downloading the jar file :)

have you seen if any error txt file have been created in the folder where you run the exe file, or in the %appdata%/.techniclauncher folder?

it is actually .techniclauncher/tekkit/bin/natives anyway i just deleted OpenAL32 and 64. Waiting at the Technic Launcher logo. Launched, Choosing Tekkit. Mojang logo... IM IN!!! Thanks dude why was those 2 files making it crash at mojang logo?

usually when it say you are missing mods it is because your client only downloaded tekkit and not technic. before you can use tekkit you need to have downloaded technic.

I have already looked there and found nothing helping me. i use 64 bit java 7 update 2 (jre-7u2-windows-x64.exe)

Hello everybody. I have just downloaded and run technic launcher on my second pc and i can't get this to work. i tried using technic-launcer.jar (in appdata) instead of exe file. i tried clear cache i tried redownload of laucher i tried redownload of mods it still do not work. my Technic Launcher Build is 0.5.4.4 What happens when i login with Tekkit? Connection to minecraft, checking for updates, shows MOJANG logo, and crash. it create an error file for me i have attached 3 error files, probably the same error. BTW i run windows 7 64bit Vanilla works Tekkit do not Technic just say Update Failed the most strange is that this work on my laptop (a slow laptop running windows 8 beta) and not on this way more powerfull machine. if you need anymore info just ask.
