i realised that all i had to do was restart my laptop

my launcher wont even launch at all useing 64 bit java and trying to get tekkit lite and using windows8 ive tryed re-downloading it about 8 times and still it does nothing but my older launcher sayes that it cant load the logs folder in roaming and that another procsess is using it
