I changed my port in server.properties to 25555 but it still says that another server is running the same port in his console.

Launcher Version: 1.3.2 Operating System: MAC OSX Java Version: 1.6.0 Antivirus Program: Description of Problem: Me and my brother both created a tekkit server with the same port. Before, he couldn't connect to mine but I could connect to his and we played for about a day. Now whenever he tries to open his server it gives an error message in the console saying FAILED TO BIND TO PORT. PERHAPS A SERVER IS ALREADY RUNNING ON THAT PORT? My server is off when he tries to open his server up. We both port-forwarded our servers on our computers on the same router (might be the problem). any help?
