the fix seemed to work at first but has frozen at extracting csensors ,but it continued to work after a few minutes

Recently i swiped all of the tekkit files, as i would usually do with my vinilla minecraft when it starts to lagg, i open the launcher and asks if i wish to update, so i say update the launcher it opens i log in and it starts to download "minecraft.jar" after it downloads minecraft.jar 3times it says "update failed" My computer is a macbook air and my operating version is os x lion 10.7.5 My java is 64bit my tekkit version is 1.0.2.0
