The macerator is a machine that turns ores into 2 dust. You can also grind up spider eyes which makes an item that is used to make Weed X. It also can make coal dust which is used to make nano suit and solar panel. You can take the dust and smelt them into bars. There for, the macerator is basically used to double your ore amount.
