Okay thank you, I was confused because it was in command prompt. Much appreciated.

So I downloaded the Tekkit server today and ran launch.bat, after it stopped scrolling text I closed it. Then I ran the Tekkit executable Jar file, nothing ever popped up on my screen however, a new javaw.exe appeared in my task manager. Me and a friend of mine were both able to log in and play for a few hours. Why do I not have a console? On my vanilla minecraft server I had the ability to force save and feel uncomfortable not being able to without a console.
