OK if anyone still has problems with Windows 7 64-bit when your technic launcher closes immidiatly after checking try this, go to C/program files/java and copy it into your C/program files (x86) then when you did that do the next thing: start> type in : %appdata% > that should open up your Roaming folder > open .techniclauncher > right mouse button on technic-launcher.jar and go to propperties then it should give you the general screen, you see filetype and under that open with, if its correct you can now select to change what you open the program with and if i'm correct there should be 2 programs right at the top, try selecting either of the 2, if the first 1 doesn't work try the other, thats how i got it to work good luck
