Is there a possibility that it switched offline to online automaticly without me knowing?

It's a multi-player world, it happened twice and both times there was a lag with the server. No error is visible for me as a player (but i'm a noob).

Title: Items lost, inventory reset? Version: 3.1.2 OS: MAC OS lion Java Version: 14.3.0 Description of Problem: I lost some stuff when I was playing Tekkit. We play on a server where I seem to be the only one having the problem. It looks like my inventory resets itself to the way it was when I started the game. This happened twice now ( with vanilla and tekkit items). I've no idea if I changed some settings or if it's a bug. Could some help me solve this problem so I'm able to play again without fearing my progress will me lost. Error Messages: Error Log:
