Nope.. I remember reading that it required Java 7.. I will just have to reinstall it, must have installed incorrectly. Sorry for anyone's time that was wasted.

In fact I just fixed it, I think I didn't install Java 7 right or something.. idk.. But I switched to Java 6 and my bukkit server works fine. Will try Tekkit server in a minute.

Don't worry about it.. I will probably find out some way of fixing it on my own... If not, take it out back with baseball bats.

And now my Bukkit server won't work either.. Just great..

Title: Terminal for Tekkit closes right after opening Version: 3.1.2 OS: Ubuntu 12.04 Java Version: 7 Description of Problem: Just as the title says I can't open run the launch.sh, all it does is bring up the terminal and close it as soon as came up. I don't get any words on it, it is just a blank screen, then it closes. I couldn't find anyone else having similar problems so this is my last resort. It may be something with my Java but I am not sure. If you know anything about it that could help me it would please me so very much. If not, I guess I will give up. I do have a Bukkit server on here aswell, and it works fine. Also, I have tried running an earlier Tekkit version server and it also worked fine. Error Messages: Error Log:
