I am just very frusterated with it as i used to pick upwards to 8 gigs but i normally had 4gb set but now it caps at 1.5gb which is not enough when you get so many machines.

I am sorry for sharing it and i can find it but when i change it my launcher will not open.

Hey do you have skype i am online for the next few hours and you can help me there my skype is artrick12.

I have tried hellocreepers post and then i went and tried reinstalling and still i only go up to 1536mb which i find is dumb. also do i edit my jar file or my launcher file. Also do you have skype as we could share screens and that could help.

Yes i am running windows 7 pro 64 bit and the reason it is not a question is because i could not figure on how to post one sorry.

Hello this is me artrick and i am wondering on how i am able to add more ram as when i do it only goes up to 1536mb and i find it is not enough for me. I currently have 8gb's of ram in my desktop and i would like to add 4 gigs but it will not go any higher then 1536 MB and i am starter to get lag on a server and had a crash due to not enough ram and would just like to know on how i am able to add 4 gigs.
