How does this keep me from getting on my own server ?

I think Mojang's servers are up, or at least part way. I can connect and play locally single player on my PC and this requires communication to Mojang for account and I'm not using Offline.

I'm having the same issue and someone else has posted some close to this. I have the same exact screen as you are. Looks to be a common issue and I am sure they are working on it.

Having login issues as well.
