Launcher Version: 1.0.1.3 Operating System: Windows 8 Pre-Release (Running Compatibility Win7) Java Version: Java 7 Update 7 Antivirus Program: Norton Internet Security Description of Problem: I've attempted to run Tekkit through the launcher and after logging it, the white screen pops up in a new window and the launcher closes. It is frozen on the white screen from then on. I'm currently running the Windows 8 Pre-Release but am running the launcher under the Windows 7 Compatibility mode. I've disabled Norton on my computer, updated to the newest Java, and nuked the .techniclauncher folder several times with no change in results. Anymore suggestions? I would really like to join my dorm floor's tekkit server. Error Messages: Error Log:
