like all services and programs that need ports work but my active directory doesn't. every time i try to connect to the Active directory from outside the network it has problems inside its fine. thought i might be a DNS problem since when you try to add a computer to the domain from outside the network it has the same probelm say no DNS found or something like that. is that clearer i really dont know the best way to explain this problem.

no just ever service from email to vpns to ftp work and i sent the recommended ports that are on the windows page

ok sorry my speech is a problem i know I'm trying to work on that. I'm a sophomore high school taking Ap computer sic and i have had to teach my self everything i know so please bare with me on my learning. 1. yes my domain is registered with godaddy. 2. I'm trying to teach myself doing so well. 3.its was just something i wanted to learn and understand how to use with a bigger picture in mind. 3. you are correct and i am having trouble getting my laptops and desktops connecting to the domain from the out side i had it at one point before my hard drive gave up on me. 4. sorry English is my first language but i do have a little speech and sentence structure problem.

there was a guy who found a fix he posted where the error was and with a just a littel java know how it can be fix.

all i use my server for is a email server domain to share printers and files and tekkit for my freinds and i but the domain just crashes when im outside the network it used to work then it stoped.

well there is a way to fix it the bug is known but you have to know a little java to fix it.

OK so i have my network with a domain on it for all the laptops and desktops. And every time i try to connect to the domain outside i cant but when i connect on the local network it has no problems. Do i have to register for my domain on like some site besides godaddy or something so that i can connect outside the network. I have port forward. thanks for the help.

ok well mine was longer and it only happened when i updated from 3.1.1 to 3.1.3 because there were some plugin problems make sure everything is the same craftbukkit build and try backing up the world and starting a new one sometimes chunks have problems and create more problems.

1.What version of tekkit 2. have you updated recently 3.is the error longer mine seemed longer when i had an error that was vary similar.

Already know 1.try downloading tekkit customizer http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/tekkitcustomizer/ and ban rotary macerator its a problem with advanced machines. once you download and ban rotary macerators get a new world and you should be ok. you can backup the world if you want it might be able to be recovered in the next update. 2.delete world and delete advanced machines and run the server you should be ok it only has rotary maerators and compressors i think.

bad idea ??

Just an idea and if anyone thinks its good. if it where a good idea for server owners to build there own mod packs that can be download like a torrent file and it is downloaded when an update is released then the update is downloaded like it is now just server owners can build the pack them selfs.
