It seems downgrading from Java 7 Update 7 to Java 6 Update 35 fixed whatever the issue was. I am able to download the Technicpack and get to the main menu, I guess I'll be back if I encounter anything else(though i'm not expecting anymore errors) Lol. Thanks for all the help, much appreciated.

Like I said, a knack for having the most obscure issues. We're also pretty much at the limit of my skills and knowledge but I'll see what I can figure out. I know Minecraft was working, I've had my account for more than a year now. I just wish I knew what changed.

Everything I can find suggests the problem is on my end. I would also think it's on my end because I'm certain I've been receiving this same error for the last 2 - 3 days, I just wasn't aware until I fixed my launcher's visual bug. Both launchers also work on a different machine on my network. Really all I'm sure about is that my firewall/anti-virus isn't the issue.

It seems I don't even have the files on my system yet, they must be downloaded with the packs available in the launcher. Since my launcher won't even begin the download of any pack, I can't do anything with the LWJGL files. I also can't check or unckeck the -use latest lwjgl- in the launcher options. It's fine. I always have a knack for finding the most complicated and obscure problems.

Alright, yeh I see the suggestions in the post. I'll see what I can accomplish with em. Lol.

That's all I get. When I enter my login info and click login a message pops up and says -unable to authenticate account info with minecraft.net-. I'm also positive tha tI'm entering it correctly. It doesn't even begin to download the packs. Also when I attempt to login with the vanilla minecraft.exe it says -can't connect to minecraft.net. It does work on another computer connected to my network though. It's something with my machine.

I am able to play in the browser on minecraft.net I don't even know where to start to fix the error with the launchers though.

Vanilla Minecraft tells me -can't connect to minecraft.net-

Yes, my account is a Premium according to the website. It's also been switched to a Mojang account so I have to use my e-mail to login. I made sure to type everything correctly and nothing would connect, I can login on the website however.

Now I'm having the issue with the TechnicLauncher.exe not being able to authenticate my account with minecraft.net. The original Minecraft.exe is also telling me that is can't connect. It was able to connect on a different computer on my network with the original Minecraft.exe. I'm certain that it's not a problem with my firewall because I disabled and completely removed them to test and it still refused to connect. I've also reinstalled Java. I'm not sure what else to try. The support website is also showing me that all the the servers are up and active. This error happened last night when I fixed my previous error but I went gone to bed, I figured it was temporary anyway but it apparently wasn't.
