Yeah, I figured since this wasn't a problem with the launcher I was just wasting people's time. However, there are some important details still not mentioned. When uninstalling Microsoft.NET, you must uninstall every instance of it. I had 4, so you might have a few. If you get a message that says you can't uninstall one of the instances because another program depends on it, uninstall the other instances first. This should fix the problem.
