It's also worth mentioning that it may fail to execute (eg if the Jar does nothing) if there is a space in your windows username. The only workaround I've had for this so far is to create a new windows user to play technic pack.

I'm getting an issue attempting to run this line that is possibly caused by my windows username having a space in it. Not the best thing, but then I didn't choose it in this case. Java is telling me it can't find anything in "C:/Users/Alexander" because the name put on this pc was my full name, and it seems it can't handle spaces in folder names. Who knows, maybe that is causing the launcher to crash out, at least for me.

Getting the same issue, the exe won't run. Also Windows 7, 64 bit. The folder .techniclauncher contains only logs. Is there a link to this .jar file? Edit: Ah, thanks for the link, but when I open it with Java it appears to run the file then close and nothing else happens (I assume by run in java you are referring to open with java.exe)
