Extreme Tekkit Lag

I have had the same problem (as you can see by my name) and I still haven't found a solution. Thing is I don't crash, I have the best settings and I fluctuate (even with stable fps on). I sometimes go from as high as 125 to as low as 4 every 2 seconds (and I don't have the two second auto save, thank you very much). So any help would be gratcho! Thanks!

Launcher Version: 1.0.1.3 Operating System: Microsoft 7 Java Version: 1.7.0_07 Antivirus Program: AVG Internet Security 2012 Description of Problem: 1. When I neared an oil pump, technic crashed and kept on crashing by saying saving chunks then going to a white screen. 2. I uninstalled technic then re-installed it, but then it would never load (white screen, no mojang logo). 3. I turned off AVG and let the technic pack load, then it started up, but there were no mods whatsoever.
