Have you played Tekkit before?: Yes, extensively. My only slight concern with your server configuration is how restrictive the ranks are (I very much enjoy creating complex machinery, including the use of the computers), but I'm willing to give it a try.

Out of curiosity, why were these items banned? (I realise you've stated the items are either buggy or overpowered, and I'm not questioning your decision to ban them, im just curious as to which of the reasons it is):
