when i run the launch.bat, the server.properties file doesn't generate. If I do either of those suggestions for the java, will the file generate? or re they unrelated?

Hey I'm also having an item ID conflict with Technic except mine might be a little different. In fact, I'm not sure if it's entirely related. Anyways, when I'm on the main screen where i can choose single or multiplayer, on the top right it has like 3000 item ID's waiting to be assigned or something? I'm not very tech savvy so I apologize if this is an easy fix. But when I was playing Technic I was setting up a quarry when I realized that wooden/cobblestone transport pipes (and every other item along that line, such as pipes) don't appear in my item list when I tried to look up the recipe. Are these two problems related? Please help!
