simple way to avoid this problem is to make sure you install java SE 7 update 3...its not officially released. make sure that it corresponds to your os version either 32 bit or 64bit. remove the {.techniclauncher} folder and follow the video tutorial on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJaoHUkpqLs you should be golden after that. :)
