This works!! Im running Windows 7, x64, java version 1.7 I deleted every single folder that had to do with minecraft (all my maps and everything) and tried everything... Untill.. I Got a Solution from Niall_. A solution: download Minecraft 1.2.5 from Mojang directly (url: http://assets.minecraft.net/1_2_5/minecraft.jar ), rename the file you just downloaded to minecraft_1.2.5 and place that file into your .techniclauncher/cache folder. - NOTE: If you're on windows and have enabled file extensions to be shown (the default is that they are not shown) then you will need to rename the file to minecraft_1.2.5.jar - do not do this if you are unsure. - NOTE: If you're using Internet Explorer, it will download the file as a zip file which will require you extract it (usually right click > Extract), you could alternatively download the file using another web browser such as Firefox, Google Chrome, or Opera. If your running Windows 7, rename the file Minecraft_1.2.5.jar then place it in the folder %appdata% > Roaming > .techniclauncher > cache GoodLuck!

Launcher Version: 1.0.2.0 Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate Java Version: 1.7.0_06 Antivirus Program: Symantec Endpoint Protection Description of Problem: Every time I have opened the TechnicLauncher.EXE shortcut to run MineCraft, and selected a modpack (all of modpacks don't work). I Log in, and the loading bar says its downloading Minecraft.jar. BUT, everytime its finished a message box appears and says "Update Failed". Please Fix. I have Deleted everything that has to do with MineCraft and tried again, so I dont think its my computer.
