White Screen on world load after clearing cache

Question

Posted

I suddenly started having Memory problems, after playing for about half an hour it would automatically exit telling me that I've run out of memory, so I tried upping the memory available in the options tab, but it didn't help as it was already set to 1.5GB. So, then I cleared the cache, hoping that would help but now I can't get on to the world that I had already started before clearing the cache. As soon as the world loads I just get a white screen. If I make a new world it runs fine, but it's just this world because I had made it pre-cache clearing. Is there any way I can recover this world?

Thanks!

PS. I am using the .jar Technic Launcher not the .exe

PPS. I can't get a bug log because the world isn't loading, so it doesn't make a log

If the launcher starts, it makes a log. Get that, and then read and follow the bug report format - the rest of that information isn't useless. If you're running a 32-bit OS, for example, dedicating 1.5GB of memory to Minecraft, unless you're running nothing else (and sometimes even then), will make it crash every single time.
