Tekkit - 3.0.4 Java Problem

Hello everyone,

I installed the latest version of tekkit (3.0.4) and tried to boot up the server but it came up with a bunch of severe errors and froze so i looked in my java program files folder and saw 3 types of java: (jre6, jre7 + jdk1.7.0).

I tried deleting the jre6 folder and booting up the server again but it said the command "java" could not be recognised. I tried deleting the jdk1.7.0 folder as well but to no success. I then tried reinstalling jre7. That didn't work.

I restored jre6 and it did the same as it did the first time; coming up with loads of severe errors and freezing.

Please help. I don't know what else to try :(

Don't worry. I've managed to fix it by directing the batch file directly to java 7's exe using the following code:

"C:\program files\java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Xmx1G -Xms512M -jar Tekkit.jar nogui
