Hi, i'm having some problems with the launcher, when set it to Technic and log in, I'm just playing vanilla Minecraft? Is there something wrong or am i just an idiot?

the thing in the top right corner of the launcher should have a drop down arrow where u can select what you play. u must have it set to vanilla just change it over to technic

Anyway, this is most commonly caused by an antivirus/firewall blocking either the downloads or access to the mods folder(s). Check to make sure nothing is doing that, and it should work.
