Title: Recieved string length longer then maxium allowed

Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4

OS: Windows 7

Java Version: 7

Description of Problem:

Basically whenever myself or any of my friends try to connect to the server that i am hosting from my computer, we get the error listed below, the 107 > 16 changes for each person. It started where i could connect but they couldn't, so i deleted my old launcher ( just in case) and re DL'd it from the site. now i cant access it either lol

Any insight would be greatly appreciated

This is the error that's commonly reported when someone with a newer client attempts to connect to a server running an older version. It sounds like you'll need to update your server, or go back to Tekkit 2.1.0 with all the clients. The problem with that is that it's not supported any more.

Updating a 2.1.1 (server version) world to 3.0.4 (also server version), however, comes with its own set of problems. There's a thread around the Tekkit board somewhere with instructions on conversion if you'd like to try, but usually starting a new world is recommended.
