Launcher cant find java directory

Launcher Version: 1.0.1.0(i think) {EDIT} 1.0.1.3

Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate

Java Version: java 6 (i think) [sorry im not more helpful]

Antivirus Program: ok so i recently got my dads old laptop and im redownloading all of my things cause my desktop's hard drive died and yeah. anyway i got technic launcher again and ran it

but when it checks the version it says cant find java directory and i dont know why

anyone know how to fix this?

I have the same problem

I fixed it all I did was install 64bit java and it worked fine.

I cant see 7 being too much different to XP when checking ur java. Control panel - java - java tab

then should have a version history
