How to Server help pls

Hi, my name is Matt and I am new to the forums. I haven't played around with Technic for quite a while, and I was wanting to play with my friends on BTEAM, but I obviously needed a server. So I go to the web page and click 'server download' which gives me a .zip folder. Now I looked up how to install said server, but all these videos show people getting .rar files instead. I'm not sure if there was an update or some shnozz but can somebody pretty please help me out?
