I have the exact same problem, but I haven't found any working solutions.

The working solution, for people that don't know how to edit block IDs or use the search button to find the problem 200 other people are having, is to remove Technic (Clear Cache will probably work) and reinstall it.

To let you know, Torezu, I did clear the cache about 5 times and deleted the TechnicSSP folder over 3 times, to no avail. No need to be a jerk, hmm?

I wasn't being a jerk. I was being condescending. There's a difference. That took me less than two minutes with a search of "Slot 169 is already occupied by buildcraft.silicon.BlockLaser" - learn to internet.
