I can not log in.

Operating System: Mac OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.8

Java Version: 1.6.0_05

Antivirus Program: Hello, this is my first post and my first time using the launcher. I tried to get it to work, could not log in. I read on the forums that Java 1.6 works best, so I installed, or tried to install it. It didnt work. Now, I changed my password, used my email, all while having a mod selected, and have cleared my cache 2 times, please help! The whole time it says my account is not authenticated, but I have logged into vanilla and minecraft.net without any problems.

wait, is the launcher on the side bar of the website the same as going to the launcher page? Because I used the side one for a version, since I do not know how to see the version of the Launcher pages version.

Did you use the .jar or the .exe?

Also, rather than posting over and over, use the edit button.

^Sorry about that. And, from my experience and what I know, macs can not run/open .exes, and yes, I did use the jar too, along with the zip.
