can not connect to minecraft.net

when in start up the technic launcher it says: cannot connect to minecraft.net. i tried to reinstall it but it didn't work. i keep getting this for the last couple of days and since tekkit updated to 3 i want to chance it to 3. i sellected the build manualy so it doesn't automaticly chance to the recomment build.

is it normal i can't connect or do i something wrong?

I have noticed the same thing. The minecraft.net servers are not the most reliable in the world, apparently. Patience is encouraged.

Is anyone else having trouble?

I get the same error, but if I delete the lastlogin file in .techniclauncher, it seems to work fine.
