Technic launcer refuses to start.

Launcher Version: 1.0.1.3

Operating System: Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

Java Version: 7

Antivirus Program: When i start the launcher it does nothing then comes up with a "Program has stopped working" error Sometimes it comes up with "Checking launcher version" and then just closes it self

Description of Problem:

When i start the launcher it does nothing then comes up with a "Program has stopped working" error Sometimes it comes up with "Checking launcher version" and then just closes it self

Error Log:


No log appered

EDIT: Why do quote signs not show up? And if someone who has any idea on how to help I have teamviewer so you could help through that.

What antivirus are you using? Some of those like to block the launcher.

I did put it in but the bug report thing doesnt work properly... IM using MSE

What about firewall? This really looks like something's interfering.

I just have windows firewall and I dont think that would block it. Would it?

EDIT: When I add a exception for it in windows firewall it still doesnt work

I got it working by simply using a custom launcher.

"%ProgramFiles%\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar technic-launcher.jar
