the launcher launches minecraft 1.1

Antivirus Program: i went into the game the first time and it was 1.2.5. but then it crashed because of my texture pack. when i reload it it only comes up as 1.1

Description of Problem:

i went into the game with tekkit the first time and it was 1.2.5. but then it crashed because of my texture pack. when i use technic it it only comes up as 1.1

The recommended build of Technic is currently on Minecraft 1.1 - Technic 7, which is the 1.2.5 build, will probably be out soonish, but don't ask for an ETA.
