Cant craft Tekkit items

Whenever i try to craft a tekkit item on my server, it gives me an end of stream error, despite my tekkit and minecraft being on the same version. Help? Also this may be in the wrong place, but idk how to get these socalled privaleges to post on the bug forums :/
