Technic Launcher Won't Start

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium

Java Version: 7

Antivirus Program: When I have downloaded the Technic launcher and run the file it says checking version then just closes. Nothing happens after that and the actual launcher never starts

When I have downloaded the Technic launcher and run the file it says checking version then just closes. Nothing happens after that and the actual launcher never starts

In the .technic launcher folder i do not have a "Logs" folder
