Macer: Did you restart after your Java reinstall? What version did you reinstall with? Is it in the system path variable like it should be?

Also, is that a direct copy/paste from your batch file? Java's going to get confused by the maximum set at both 2 and 3g - change the 2g to -Xms.

didnt understand anything u said torezu, i redownloaded the server files and things (3.0.4) after redownloading java 7 update 5...

dont understand system path variable or "maximum set at both 2 and 3g" and not shure what it is or how to change the 2g to -Xms, or what you mean by restart after reinstalling java

-_-

I call troll. It's either that, or you're not smart enough to run a server.

I've got the same problem like macer. When i run the server with JAVA7 it works. But then my tekkit launcher doesn't work :( It's like pest or cholera :(

I have then tried to remove the netherOre mod and run the server with JAVA6. Then both my server and launcher works. But my friends can't join the server.

ok ya ur goofed a bit. now im sure
is going to hunt me down on this post an say im wrong saying that java isnt always installed in the same place an some other useless crap, but anyways try changing your bat file to read the following

Code:

SET BINDIR=%~dp0

CD /D "%BINDIR%"

"%ProgramFiles%\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Xmx2G -Xms2G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalPacing -XX:ParallelGCThreads=2 -XX:+AggressiveOpts -jar Tekkit.jar

I did that, and I still get the error above.
