Technic launcher won't start, says "The action “Run AppleScript” encountered an error."

Launcher Version: Technic Mac Version

Operating System: Mac OS X version 10.5.8 processor 2 GHz Intel Core 2 duo

Java Version: latest

Antivirus Program: Update is succsesful, then a message pops up saying"The action “Run AppleScript” encountered an error.""Check the actionʼs properties and try running the workflow again."

Description of Problem:

i cannot find my techniclauncher folder, i followed all steps and made hidden folders visible

The techniclauncher folder can be accessed via:

Macintosh HD>Users>*username*>Library>Application Support>techniclauncher

EDIT:

The other place you might be referring to:

- in applications folder, find technic launcher

- right click and select show package contents

I cannot find the folder in application support, and the actual launcher is not in my applications, it goes into my download files and then i put it on my desktop screen. is it supposed to be in my application folder?

But the problem is not about where the folder is, its the fact that the launcher won't work (see first post)

open Java Preferences (you can search it in spotlight), ensure that you have java SE6 64bit on top of the 32bit version. click and drag to rearrange the order. try running the launcher again see if it works.
